Learn to dance tango:

In Buenos Aires numerous schools and academies exist, where professors and instructors will be able to teach you to dance tango. Most of the tango schools are located in the area of the center and in the districts of San Telmo and Palermo.

Where to dance the tango:

In the City of Buenos Aires exists a circuit of milongas (sites to dance the tango) where each weekend meet the pairs of dance. In milongas the dance of tango is the main protagonist.

Tango Worldwide:

Every year the Tango Worldwide is made in Buenos Aires. This event summons to professional pairs and amateurs worldwide. A jury conformed by important personalities of tango are in charge to choose to the best pairs of dancers. In addition to the competition, during the Worldwide different activities are made from the tango.

La gran Milonga

In Buenos Aires, every year is carried out the “Gran Milonga”. This great dance outdoors summons to hundreds of pairs that to the tango rate are amused to the compass of 2 x 4. The Great Milonga usually coincides with the Worldwide of Tango.

Los tangueros

 Many figures were protagonists of the history of tango, among them stand out: Carlos Gardel, Julio Sosa, Aníbal Troilo, Osvaldo Pugliese, Roberto Goyeneche, Astor Piazzolla, Juan de Dios Filiberto, Homero Manzi, Mariano Mores, Tata Cedrón, and many others.
